Letters to WOW # 9

Thank you Carmen,

The world as we know it can be so depressing at times. To come across a site such as yours is reassuring. To know there are people out there still devoted to love, peace, and hope gives me reassurance that what is at the heart of all humanity is not forgotten. Certain people have the ability to touch our hearts and leave their footprints upon it, today you have done that for me. For this I thank you.

May God continue to bless you each and every day.

Dear Carmen,

My name is Oksana, and I am a graduate student from St. Petersburg, Russia. I have just run upon your website. The only thing I can say is WOW!!! It is AMAZING! I have spent 5 hours, unable to do anything else but exploring your site!

And thank you very much for your story - the story that is behind the creation of the site. Thank you for sharing. When I was reading it, I could not believe my eyes, because it is MY STORY!!! I am still overwhelmed with emotions, because only he who has lived through this kind of life situation knows the price of such a step - to stop your relationship with such a person and change your life!

I am an adept pf WOW philosophy! Thank you! You are my friend!

Love,

Oksana Buranbayeva

Hi!

I've read some of your poems and also your personal stories and am really touched by them. We read of so many abuses and sometimes it shames me that I'm a man..

Your poems have inspired me to also look into myself and write about things that I really care about. To date I have written a few poems and left some of them on the Rainbow garden. (WOMAN,  I AM)

WOW to u for your inspiration and kind words..

Peace..

Norman

May I tip my Resistol in old cowboy tradition in Honor and respect to you as a person, a woman, and an enlightened soul. I can't imagine any man in his right mind, not dedicating his entire being in Honor of being loved by you. I may be a Rancher, but I am a highly educated Rancher who understands life forces. I am glad to hear, you took back your life and am living it for all it was destined for you to do. Again, my hat is tipped to you along with my infamous "Cowboy Grin".

Hey WOWZone!

My name is Cade Kuhr, and I recently met someone who has a site with y'all, Al Ward. I went to visit his site, and decided to look at the home page as well. Your idea to be the messengers of peace, love, and kindness is great, especially in the world we live in. If only more people would take this outlook on life, maybe it would be a little nicer here on this planet Earth! Thanks for the positive message, God Bless!

SINCERELY,

Dear Carmen:

What a wonderful web site you have at wowzone.com!  Your philosophy is so refreshing and makes a lot of sense.

I'm a mediator in Austin, Texas who recently began teaching anger management workshops.  I'm going to refer my students to your website for additional insights into how they can create a new world for themselves.

Take care and WOW,

Hi Carmen,
Don't ask me how I came upon your wonderful site but I think that I was led to it.
I am a recreation programmer at the ECU of Delta Hospital here in Delta B.C. (a suburb of Vancouver)  My residents are a mix of people from various backgrounds who are chronically ill and require 24 hr nursing care.  The majority of them are geriatric, some with dementia, but I have a core of souls whose minds are vibrantly alive and looking for venues in which they can continue to make a difference in their world.
A group of businesses in the area contributed a computer to the residents, and our local cable network donates our internet access.  And now the world is begining to open up.
In the past few months, courtesy of the computer, my co-worker Kerry and I have been establishing a computer group from which has sprung many other programs.  We cannot believe the impact the computer has made!  One program is "Community Activism" and the residents have been having their say in our provincial politics via email and actually getting published!  We are establishing pen pal links etc. and working on our own Earth Day celebration as well.  Our sages at Mountainview Manor are being heard and feel part of the world again.
Your WOW site looks to provide a wealth of information and material for our programs and we would like to thank you for your dedication in getting it out to the world!
I would also like to know if we could order a number of the WOW pins for our people? I know that you have an order form on the site but was wondering if I could place an order with you and then pay thru the mail?  I am leery about security and giving out visa numbers over the internet.
Thank you again for your site and for your attention to this email. We are looking forward to continued empowerment of our elders here at the Manor; they have a wealth of wisdom and hearts full of passion and compassion to share!
Love and prayers,
Carol Jones   {:-)

Hi Carmen, I just walked into your web site this morning. I was guided there by my dear cyber friend Austin Repath.

Before I walk on I just want to say how much I support you in your life journey. Your story of your ex-husband and how you chose a different path is very inspiring. You offer hope to many others.

It is an honourable path that you have chosen Carmen, keep on, keeping on.

Hi Carmen, a friend from St-Leonard told me about your site and I found that you are doing the exact same thing that I wish newspapers would do: print uplifting news. Life can be so much easier and full of positive experiences if everybody would change their attitude and be more like you. Good sailing !
