I have wonderful childhood memories from this song: our 4th (fourth) grade teacher, teaching us this song, and the whole class singing together. We were good, a heavenly sound, even for a bunch of kids who never sang before. Maybe it's just the way I want to remember it...

Nonetheless, I never forgot the words or melody, and the look in the teacher's eyes every time we sang...
